Become a member of the Association and receive a quarterly newsletter keeping you up to date with what is happening at the Centre and in the local community.

The centre holds events throughout the year. This is a great way of making friends as well as gaining the satisfaction of belonging to the community. The committee welcomes suggestions for activities and events.

Office hours
The office is open:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8.30am-12.                                      Wednesday: 1pm-4.30pm

Photocopier and fax:
A photocopier and fax are available for use during office hours. There is a small fee charged.

Management

A small volunteer committee was formed in 1987 to manage the centre and keep the doors open to the community for everyone to enjoy.

The management committee meets once/month to discuss issues and plan community events for the people of Wollongong. New committee members are encouraged to join the team. As they say 'Many hands make light work' so if you have some free time and would like to be part of the Balgownie Village Community Centre please contact the office on 42853225. The environment is one of friendliness and informality. Monthly meetings last about an hour.
